Translational Genomics Research Institute

Elizabeth is a Computational Scientist at TGen with expertise in transcriptomics, genomics, and bioinformatics. She received her Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Arizona State University, where she studied regeneration and evolutionary developmental biology using genomic and transcriptomic approaches. Since joining TGen in 2015, her work has focused on extracellular RNA, non-coding RNA, transcript diversity, and short- and long-read sequencing. She has contributed to large collaborative Parkinson’s disease studies, including AMP PD, and has participated in transcriptomics and data harmonization working groups. She is also a Data Community Innovator in the Michael J. Fox Foundation Data Community of Practice and works to advance reproducible and collaborative data science.
