Nikoleta Vavouraki

Nikoleta obtained her MSc in Neuroscience from University College London and her PhD in Bioinformatics from University of Reading, UK. She then worked as a Bioinformatician, first at the University of Oxford (GSK-Oxford Institute of Molecular and Computational Biology) and subsequently at the Biomedical Sciences Research Center “Alexander Fleming”. Most recently, she joined Dr Doxakis team at the Academy of Athens (Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens), whose research interests include the post-transcriptional regulation in Parkinson’s disease.
