Michel is a Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at Université de Montréal. He was trained as a cell biologist during his graduate studies at UdeM and his post-doc with Gareth Griffiths at the EMBL in Germany. Michel is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.
