Alpha-Synuclein Pathology, Aggregation Kinetics, and Disease Propagation

Naman Vatsa is a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Michael Henderson at the Van Andel Institute, where he investigates the molecular pathogenesis of Parkinson’s disease and aims to leverage this knowledge toward the development of potential therapeutics. He earned his bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Lucknow, India, followed by a master’s degree and Ph.D. in neuroscience from the National Brain Research Centre, India. During his doctoral training, he conducted basic and translational research across multiple neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental disorders. After completing his graduate training, he was associated with BioXcel Corporation (India), contributing to drug discovery efforts for neurological disorders.
