Supporting CRN investigators who are studying the role of the microbiome in Parkinson’s disease

Team Microbiome Analytics Core (MAC), which was developed based on recommendations from the CRN Microbiome Working Group, provides analysis support to CRN investigators who are studying the role of the microbiome in Parkinson’s disease (PD) as part of their ASAP-funded project. 

The mission of the MAC is to:

  • Support CRN researchers with study design, data management, and data analysis
  • Incorporate data integration and new analysis ideas, while striving to achieve result reproducibility and harmonization, if not standardization across CRN studies
  • Synthesize data from ASAP programs and public databases to investigate and define PD disease markers
