Tony is Head of the Department of Clinical and Movement Neurosciences at the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, and Professor of Neurology and Clinical Neurosciences. He trained in clinical and laboratory sciences in London. His group identified the mitochondrial Complex I defect in PD and the GBA enzyme deficiency in PD brain. He was elected a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences in 1999 and has received numerous awards in neurology and neuroscience.
