Luis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at The Ohio State University. He studied the role of reactive oxygen species in selective autophagy during his graduate training and later worked in Mark Cookson’s laboratory at the NIH, where he investigated the role of LRRK2 in damaged lysosomes.
