Dave is an Associate Professor and Boettcher Investigator in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at University of Colorado, Boulder. As a graduate student at Rutgers University in Mark West’s lab, he studied the neurophysiology of drug-seeking behavior. As a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institute on Drug Abuse in Marisela Morales’s lab, he identified subtypes of ventral tegmental area neurons, as well as some of their circuits and behavioral functions.
