Dr. Michael Schwarzschild, Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School, is a biologist and clinical trialist focused on improving therapy for people with Parkinson’s disease. His research laboratory explores gene-environment interactions in Parkinson’s models at Massachusetts General Hospital, where his movement disorders practice is based. He leads the Parkinson Study Group, a consortium of clinical sites conducting PD trials across the US and Canada.
