Sabine is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and the Department of Pharmacology, Physiology and Neuroscience at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She studied the cellular mechanisms underlying synaptic release as a graduate student with Paul Greengard at Rockefeller University and previously held a position in the UK and then in Spain, where she was awarded the first Research Prize of the Spanish Federation for Parkinson’s Disease.
